The Duke's curse and Alice's devotion have always been a joke that hurt to watch. Season 3 stops joking. Two people who can never touch finally have to reckon with what that actually means, and the show trades its comedy timing for the thing it was always building toward: proof that some bonds survive even the rules of fate itself. Alice has always known the Duke was worth breaking a curse for. This season asks him to believe it too.

Everything the young Duke touches dies, the result of a curse placed on him by a witch. His secluded mansion stays lively all the same, thanks to his siblings Viola and Walter, his butler Rob, the witches Cuff and Zain, and above all Alice Lendrott, the flirtatious maid who gives him hope for the future. With Zain's magic and help from Daleth, ruler of the underworld, the group has learned who cast the curse: a feared and powerful witch who keeps tormenting them from beyond the grave, furious over their journey into the past. The return of someone dear to them renews the Duke and Alice's hope of lifting the curse and finally being together. This third season brings their untouchable romance to its conclusion, mixing comedy, drama and supernatural elements.
