The Five Killers is a single action ONA that exists only as a trailer for a planned animated TV series. Writer and producer Eric Calderon conceived the project as an original work for Gonzo, intended to run twelve episodes capped by an hour-long finale. Manga artist Shigeki Maeshima handled the designs, and Tomohiro Hirata, known for directing Trinity Blood, directed the trailer. GDH ran into serious money trouble, so the full series was never made and the trailer is the only piece that was released.
