A hero summoning ritual is coming, and they will all be sent over once it is ready. The students form groups to wait, but nobody will team up with Seiichi, so he is summoned somewhere else entirely, deep in a forest far from his schoolmates and from any human settlement. There, the first thing he eats is a strange fruit called the Fruit of Evolution, and it starts to change his life dramatically. Despite the bullying and a lack of recognition for what he achieves, Seiichi stays positive, survives in this new world and somehow becomes one of its champions. The result is a comedic fantasy adventure with a romantic side.
