Miyuki finally gets to be more than the perfect support system for her brother's genius. The show takes the rigid hierarchy that strangled the original series and lets its best characters breathe within it, building something quieter and more human than the first run ever managed. It's not essential viewing if you've seen Mahouka, but it's what fans of the original actually wanted: time with these people in a world that already makes sense, without needing to prove anything.
