Rein gets fired and decides that's actually the best thing that ever happened to him. He systematically reclaims every power he wasted on ungrateful people, then builds something real with the broken ones nobody else wanted. It's a show about how getting discarded is sometimes the only way to stop pretending you're useful to people who never deserved you in the first place.

Rain is an enchantment mage in one of the continent's five great guilds, and he is abruptly thrown out because the guild decides its gear is already strong enough. Stung by the betrayal, he pulls back all the Enhancement Points he had poured into their equipment and puts them into his own things instead. A cheap copper sword gains the power of a legendary blade, and plain cloth clothes become as tough as orichalcum. His enchantment magic also hides a cheat-level secret that lets it grow even stronger. Rain has no combat experience, but he sets out to live freely as an adventurer. Along the way he meets Lily, a famed beautiful knight who comes looking for him after hearing the rumors, and Martina, a noble lady who is a candidate for the title of Hero. The series mixes fantasy adventure with comedy and slice-of-life moments.
