Nobody talks about this one. The movie doesn't exist to explain what you already watched, it exists to show you why Ge Nie and Tianming's partnership was forged in blood before the series even started. A single battle doesn't create that kind of trust. The Western Regions subplot arrives without fanfare, but it rewires how you'll understand the larger conflict the moment you go back to season one. This is the kind of prequel that makes you immediately restart the show.

Set before the opening of the first season of The Legend of Qin, this action fantasy film goes back to the time before Ge Nie and Tianming fought off 300 soldiers at Huangyang Chuan. It shows how the two first came to meet. A new female character also enters the story, along with her connection to the Western Regions.
