The Gall Force cast shows up to film a serious military sci-fi epic and immediately gets destroyed by the gap between script and reality. Every scene collapses in a different way: the director wants authenticity so badly he electrocutes the crew, Lufy spends half the runtime mortified in front of extras, the whole production becomes a slapstick machine that only works because everyone involved takes themselves seriously while everything falls apart. This is 1988 asking what happens when you point a camera at your own show's pretensions and let chaos do the talking.

This super deformed parody reimagines the Gall Force franchise as a live-action production, with the cast and crew running into one embarrassing problem after another. Framed as a making-of documentary for Eternal Story, it mixes behind-the-scenes footage with out-takes and strange mishaps on set. Lufy finds herself mortified when she ends up nude in front of a crowd of onlookers, while Catty clashes with a director fixated on realistic filming. Once the premiere is over, the cast ends up in a running on-stage brawl over which of them is the most popular character. Much of the humor plays on the Eternal Story film itself and on the relationships between its characters.
