Two mystery episodes make up this OVA, and each looks back at a different part of the story. The first turns to the shared history between Kogorou Akechi and the Fiend With Twenty Faces. The second visits the Boy Detectives Club in the period before Kobayashi and Hanazaki crossed paths.
