Lilith's father arrives as the first villain in this franchise who actually matters to her story, not just Arata's. The movie knows exactly what it is, romance payoff for couples you've spent seasons with, wrapped in fights that finally give the soundtrack room to breathe. It moves too fast to hold its own logic together, but the character moments land because they earned them across two seasons and a first film.

Kasuga Arata is a Demon Lord candidate who carries the Demon Lord Element, a power said to be capable of ending the world. While he and Asami Lilith are looking into a ruin, a brilliant light falls from the sky, and a hooded man who resembles Arata appears. This stranger has recovered his strength as the Demon Lord and intends to destroy the world. He also reveals that Lilith is the daughter of the strongest Demon Lord. Arata and the rest of the Trinity Seven must now confront the greatest threat they have ever faced, in a fantasy action film that mixes battles with comedy, romance and ecchi elements.
