Anime Like Ushio and Tora

SYNOPSIS
Ushio's been hearing his dad's stories about an ancient Beast Spear and a demon pinned to a temple altar for years. Just folklore, he figures. Then he finds a massive monster chained in his basement, and the legends suddenly feel very real. Ushio makes the mistake of freeing the beast to stop other demons flooding into town, unaware that his family's sacred spear might be the only thing keeping Tora from turning him into lunch. What starts as a desperate gamble becomes something stranger: an unlikely partnership between a teenager and a sarcastic tiger demon who's been sealed away for centuries. As more supernatural threats close in, Ushio discovers that Tora isn't quite the mindless monster he expected, and that their uneasy alliance might be the only shot at saving his hometown. Equal parts horror and comedy, this story balances genuine danger with moments of absurd banter between a kid in way over his head and a demon who's just as confused about the arrangement as he is.
