Takuma is genuinely kind in a genre full of accidental perverts and spineless jokes, which means when the Valkyries actually fall for him it lands instead of feeling like a foregone conclusion. Takuma Akutsu is a high schooler whose huge frame and rough looks have earned him the nickname "demon", and he has made peace with a solitary life, asking only to be left alone.
