A small laundry shop becomes the quiet center where everyone's unraveling gets folded back into shape. Wakana doesn't fix problems with grand gestures, she listens while sorting other people's lives into neat piles, and somehow that's enough. The show knows the difference between happiness and peace, and it chooses peace every time.

Wakana Kinme has spent two years running Kinme Cleaning, a small laundry business in the seaside hot springs resort of Atami. She has no memory of her life before arriving in town, yet she has built a warm new life there, befriending locals and soaking in the hot springs. The garments customers leave in her care hold memories of their owners, and she treats each one with patient attention. As she cleans away stains, she is drawn into the tender everyday stories of the people around her, a gentle romantic comedy about finding a place to belong even without a past.
