A woman gets drunk and rants to a stranger who turns out to work at a radio station, then has to live with the consequences on live air. The show treats her chaos like it matters, like her voice breaking open in front of thousands of people is both mortifying and necessary. Every episode pulls harder on the thread of what happens when you stop performing who you're supposed to be and start saying what you actually think, one unscripted confession at a time.

Minare Koda, a restaurant worker in Sapporo, is reeling from a painful breakup, and on a drunken night out she pours out her grievances to a stranger who turns out to be Kanetsugu Matou, a director at a local radio station. The next day she is horrified to hear a recording of her rant playing on the air. She storms into the station to put a stop to it, but a string of events lands her live on air, improvising an explanation for her harsh words. Matou hears natural talent in her fluent, energetic delivery, and soon Minare is hosting a late-night talk show under his direction, telling offbeat stories set around Sapporo while juggling her day job and personal life to stay afloat. Adapted from a seinen manga by Hiroaki Samura, the series mixes comedy, drama, romance and slice of life.
