Three people who were supposed to stay together forever get six years stolen from them, then spend two episodes trying to remember why they mattered to each other in the first place. The supernatural elements aren't window dressing, they're the only language left for saying things reunion can't say out loud. It's restrained enough to feel like actual romance instead of exploitation, even though it came from source material that had no reason to be.

The two-episode OVA from 2000 adapts an adult game released by Cocktail Soft in 1998. It mixes romance and drama with fantasy, mystery and supernatural elements.
