Akira Inugami, a high school student, faces death when a lethal poison courses through his veins. The only known cure comes with a harsh bargain: it turns him into a werewolf. He chooses to survive, and must then cope with the new desires his condition brings. Under the full moon he becomes an immortal beast, and that power draws unwanted attention. The military and several intelligence organizations come after him, each hoping to use his affliction for their own ends.
