He sleeps in internet cafes and trades on the Lunar Stock Exchange, and his instinct for the market turns one thousand mools into seventy-two thousand within months. Life on the streets still means dodging the police, and after one narrow escape he shelters in a church run by Risa, who also works part-time at a Chinese restaurant. Also living there is Hagana, a cold girl with a gift for mathematics. Going by the name Haru, he recruits her as his quantitative analyst for a virtual trading competition that can open doors into the financial world. As their success draws investors to his cause, Haru must keep his nerve in a volatile market.
