Two girls with nothing but fists and nerve roll into a high school run by ninjas and come out the other side having solved a mystery nobody asked them to solve. The action snaps, real martial artist choreography, not the usual OVA shortcut, and the cast around them is solid enough that you actually care when someone breaks. It's a 1989 one-off that knows exactly what it is: a weekend adventure where two women wreck a corrupt system and move on to the next town, leaving the mess and the broken hearts for someone else to sort out.

Two high school girls on a mission arrive at a new campus where something rotten is going on. Second-year students Reiko Shinokita and Junko Yajima move from one school to the next, taking on thugs, ninjas, yakuza and corruption wherever they find them. Here they run up against a corrupt administrator and a secret ninja order, and they uncover a tragic death from long ago. They are not alone in the fight: Kotetsu, a skilled ninja, lends them his help. Together they battle to put the school right, though several hearts end up broken along the way. This two-episode OVA mixes action and adventure as the pair clean up yet another troubled school.
