Peace doesn't last three years in this world. The moment Takeru thinks he can put away the god-mecha and live like a normal person, the nightmare comes back, and this time it brings someone he thought was finished. Reactivating Susanoo isn't victory, it's admitting the war never actually ended, just paused.

Three years after the decisive battle that ended the original Yamato Takeru, peace has come back to the land. Takeru, Oto and their friends have settled into happy days in their village. One night Shuranoo returns with Mikazuchi at the controls and attacks the village. Left with no other option, Takeru reawakens the sealed Susanoo. The attack is only the start of a new threat, and to save Oto from the danger ahead, Takeru has to overcome himself. The two-episode OVA mixes action, adventure and fantasy with mecha science fiction.
