Koyomi is still only able to summon washbasins, and Yumiko has decided that Misa is not teaching her magic the right way. Since Misa's lessons in Modern Magic do not seem to be helping, Yumiko takes over and starts teaching Koyomi Classical Magic instead. Titled "cruncha cruncha cruncha," this comedy special is set partway through the TV series, yet it aired ahead of the series as an advance broadcast.
