Natsumi and Miyuki's dynamic has zero chemistry problems; they click immediately in a way that makes their partnership feel earned instead of manufactured. Natsumi tears through Tokyo's streets on her moped, already late for day one at the Bokuto Police Department. The officer who chases her down and writes her a ticket turns out to be her new partner once she reaches the station. Miyuki is everything Natsumi isn't: methodical, rule-abiding and a gifted mechanic behind the wheel of a heavily modified patrol car. Natsumi doesn't trust her at first, but the job keeps pushing them together. What starts as uneasy cooperation grows into a close friendship as they deal with traffic accidents, reckless street racers and even powerful typhoons striking Tokyo.
