A cat forgets something on Christmas Eve, and somehow that becomes the whole thing. The special moves at the pace of wrapping paper being carefully unfolded, no rush, no stakes except the ones a pet creates by existing. You watch Nya remember, and in that remembering, the show reminds you that Christmas isn't about perfection, it's about someone showing up for you, even when they've forgotten why they're supposed to.

Nya is set to share another cheerful Christmas, just as in years past. There is one problem, though: Nya has forgotten something, and whatever it is proves startling enough to leave Santa at a loss for words and throw his reindeer into a frenzy. A single-episode holiday special, it pairs light comedy with an everyday, slice-of-life feel.
