The opening arc sells you a world where demons and humans run a counseling office together, then abandons that premise halfway through without warning. What remains is four teenagers with ridiculous powers fighting increasingly abstract threats while the animation and soundtrack refuse to apologize for how good they look doing it. You either roll with the chaos and get rewarded with action sequences that feel alive, or you bail when the plot evaporates. This show doesn't care which.

In the small town of Sakurashin, humans and youkai live side by side, and keeping the peace takes more than an ordinary police force. The Hiizumi Life Counseling Office handles the troublemakers who threaten the town. Ao is a cat-eared telepath and the town's announcer. Kotoha is half-youkai and can summon any object by saying its name. Hime is descended from a dragon and serves as the town's acting mayor. Their director is Akina, the only human of the four, who can use a technique called tuning to send harmful youkai back to their own world for good. Together they face demon dogs and other supernatural threats, while new arrivals and mysterious events test the fragile balance between the two peoples. The series mixes comedy with supernatural action.
