Yusei Fudo is a skilled mechanic from Satellite, the run-down hometown he shares with Jack Atlas. Dueling has changed: Riding Duels, fought on motorcycles fused with Duel Disks called D-Wheels, now draw crowds to purpose-built stadiums. Two years ago Yusei's former friend Jack Atlas stole the D-Wheel Yusei had built along with his prized card, Stardust Dragon, and fled to Neo Domino City, where he rose to the top of the dueling world. With help from his friends, Yusei finishes a new D-Wheel and heads for the city to find Jack, unaware that hidden figures are manipulating events and that much more is at stake.
