Nobody talks about this one. It's a forgotten pilot that exists only because someone at Toei decided a magical girl successor deserved a second chance, and the charm here is genuinely effortless, the kind of light, frictionless entertainment that modern shows strain to recapture. Watch it as a time capsule of what magical girl anime felt like when nobody was trying to deconstruct the genre, just letting it breathe.

Yume Sekai Hodgepodge is a one-episode special made as a pilot film for a planned follow-up to Mahou no Tenshi Creamy Mami. That successor was never produced, and the pilot did not air. It was later released as bonus material in home video collections of Mahou no Yousei Persia, first in that show's LD box and later in the second volume of its DVD collection box.
