Each episode is a small mystery wrapped in someone else's fear. Touko and Rinko show up, figure out what's broken inside the dreamer's head, and fix it with toys and patience instead of violence. The show trusts that watching two sisters solve quiet problems is enough, which means you're not waiting for spectacle to justify paying attention. When powerful emotions leak out of people's dreams and become real nightmares, someone has to clean up the mess. That's where Touko and Rinko come in. These two sisters, Mishima Touko and Mishima Rinko, work as dream users with power over the dream world, and their job is to stop runaway nightmares before they cause serious harm. Armed with nothing but toys that double as weapons, the girls track down these manifestations and destroy them, then return the dreams to their rightful owners. Along the way they solve mysteries and fight evil inside the dream world born from the human spirit. Adapted from a manga by Ueshiba Riichi, the twelve episodes mix comedy, drama and slice of life with a supernatural twist.
