SYNOPSIS
Fifth-grader Chiyoko has always been fascinated by the supernatural, so when a classmate asks her to perform a love fortune-telling, she jumps at the chance. Her attempt to summon Cupid goes hilariously wrong, though. A stuffed nose during the incantation brings a completely different entity into her bedroom: Gyubid, a brash witch who claims to be magic's hottest instructor and immediately appoints herself Chiyoko's personal mentor. What follows is a chaotic education in witchcraft that Chiyoko never exactly signed up for. Gyubid's training methods are brutal, her punishments for laziness are creative, and her ego is absolutely unshakeable. The silver lining is that only Chiyoko can see her mysterious new teacher, meaning she can hide her secret magical lessons from everyone at school and home. Balancing regular student life with reluctant witch training becomes Chiyoko's new normal as she navigates increasingly absurd spells, homework disasters, and Gyubid's constant need for validation. The comedy comes from watching a stubborn kid try to manage an impossible situation with an insufferable, invisible mentor.
