Five kids in a patrol car get yanked into alien space and come back as mecha pilots, no training, no cosmic destiny speech, just "here's your robot, go fight." The transformation sequences are where this show lives; every combination is a feast of mechanical detail and fluid animation that makes you watch the same scene twice just to see how the pieces move. It's pure mecha spectacle built for people who came for the robots and stayed because watching five high schoolers figure out how to pilot increasingly elaborate machines together never gets old.

Five high school students, En, Kai, Shin, Yoku and Ryu, are caught in the panic when a giant space monster begins tearing through their city. Too late to flee, they take shelter in a parked patrol car, which glows blue-white and carries them off into a mysterious space. There they meet Bravian, an officer of the Space Police Organization, which keeps peace and order across the universe. He tells them he is being targeted by vicious aliens from the Space Prison Sargasso, and that he has made battle machines called Dag Beagle, modeled on machines from Earth, for the fight. With his power the five become Dagwon, and En merges with the patrol car to become the Brave Robot Dag Fire and defeat the monster. It is only the start of a mecha action adventure pitting Dagwon against Sargasso's criminal aliens.
