The 3D animation is so fluid and precise that every gunfight and mecha clash feels like watching tactical choreography instead of just explosions. Post-apocalyptic New York actually breathes as a character, all rust and decay and verticality, which makes the combat sequences feel like they're happening in a real place instead of a video game cutscene. The story is straightforward, find Olympus, stop Talos, survive, but it doesn't need to be clever when the visuals are doing this much work.
Twenty-second century New York lies in ruins, a fractured wasteland where survival means taking whatever work you can find. Deunan and Briareos, a hardened soldier and her cyborg partner, navigate the wreckage hunting for Olympus, a legendary city that might still exist somewhere beyond the devastation. When a warlord offers them payment to destroy combat machines terrorizing the sector, they accept without hesitation. The job goes sideways when they cross paths with Iris and Olson, operatives caught in their own desperate mission: stop the rogue cyborg Talos from weaponizing something humanity built to protect itself. What starts as a collision of separate agendas becomes an uneasy alliance. As Deunan and Briareos get pulled deeper into Iris's fight, they discover Talos has leverage they didn't expect. The four of them must navigate a city that wants them dead and a threat far larger than any single faction can handle. Action-heavy and relentlessly paced, this film balances visceral combat sequences with the grim atmosphere of a world still burning from its own mistakes.
