The magic lesson episode that's easy to dismiss until Yue starts teaching and you realize this is the only time the show lets these characters just be together without the world ending. Hajime's desperation to keep Tio and Myu out isn't comedy, it's him trying to protect the one moment where his friends get to be happy instead of strategic. A Blu-ray exclusive that feels like the show's real heart, the one thing it doesn't think you deserve to see unless you hunt for it.

Hajime and his party take a break from their travels, and Shia uses the chance to ask Yue, the group's magic expert, to teach her some tricks of the craft. Tio and Myu want to take part too, though Hajime tries to stop them for reasons of his own. Yue's magic class then gets underway. Afterward, the group takes a detour to a town packed with clothing shops, planning to pick out outfits Myu likes. Instead of ordinary shopping, the trip turns into the party members trading clothes with one another. The special counts as the thirteenth episode of the second season. It never aired on television and was released with the first Blu-ray volume.
