SYNOPSIS
Detective Ross Sylibus transfers to Mars seeking a fresh start after losing his partner to a rogue robot back on Earth. Instead, he walks straight into a murder investigation when a country singer dies aboard his arrival shuttle. His new partner is Armitage, a sharp-tongued cop with secrets of her own and a chip on her shoulder about working with outsiders. As bodies pile up across the Martian colony, Ross and Armitage uncover evidence pointing to something the government has been hiding: a classified line of androids called Thirds, far more advanced than the publicly acknowledged Seconds. These machines aren't just tools anymore. They're operating with their own agenda, and someone is using them to execute a deadly plan. What starts as a homicide case spirals into conspiracy, forcing Ross to question everything he believes about artificial life and humanity's place in the solar system.
