A delinquent pulling a baby demon king out of a river and being told he has to raise it is the kind of premise that only works if you commit to it completely, and this special commits. The comedy lands because it treats supernatural chaos like a normal Tuesday at a school full of thugs. If you've read ahead in the manga, this hits different, it's a celebration of what's coming, not an introduction.

Oga Tatsumi is the strongest delinquent at Ishiyama High, a school full of troublemakers who either fear him or want to beat him. While resting by a river, he pulls a floating man to shore, and the man splits in two to reveal a baby boy. The infant is Beel, son of the Demon King, and his maid Hilda explains that the child has attached himself to Oga because of his great strength. Oga must now raise the demon prince or face Hilda's blade, unless he can find someone tougher for the baby to latch onto instead, such as one of the Tohoshinki, the four strongest fighters at the school. This one-episode special mixes action, comedy and the supernatural, and was made exclusively for screening at the Jump Super Anime Tour 2010.
