A weapon trained to feel nothing meets a girl learning to feel everything, and the only thing that saves either of them is the other one breaking first. Sonnet doesn't have time to rediscover her humanity, the plot won't let her, but those moments when she tries anyway are the entire point. Sonnet arrives in Japan as a living weapon: part cyborg, part esper, shaped by a harsh past into the most powerful fighter in the world. Her mission is to watch over Lan, a quiet girl who knows she is different from everyone around her. Lan is believed to be driven by the rage of an esper known as Crimson Fang. After Lan comes into contact with Sonnet, signs of Crimson Fang begin to surface, and she must fight to control that power and hold on to her humanity. As the two battle each other, Sonnet begins to rediscover her own humanity. The five-episode OVA mixes science fiction and supernatural action with drama, setting two superhuman girls on opposite paths: one finding her way back to being human, the other struggling not to lose it.
