Douglas gets his adventurer's license stripped and nobody cares. SYNOPSIS
Douglas spent his glory days as an elite enhancement mage, but those days are long gone. Cast out from his adventuring party and stripped of his license, he's now just another washed-up old man trying to survive on the road. That changes when he finds Rabi, a young girl cursed with a form that slowly petrifies her body. Bound by something deeper than obligation, Douglas takes her under his wing. What starts as a reluctant rescue becomes something unexpected: a second chance at life. Together they navigate a fantasy world filled with danger and comedy, searching for ways to break Rabi's curse while learning to actually enjoy the simple things. Douglas discovers that retirement from the adventuring life doesn't mean the adventure stops. It just looks different now: slower, warmer, and infinitely more meaningful than chasing glory ever was.
