Three young girls living in the old towns of Tokyo dream of becoming idols as members of the underground idol group Patisserie. Underground idols, sometimes called live or indie idols, build their following through live performances rather than mass media exposure. No talent agency will take the girls on, and they have no albums out, but they refuse to wait around. They want to get on stage and give it everything right now.
