Cosplay Complex: Extra Identification is a single-episode comedy OVA that works as a companion piece to the main series. It lets viewers pair each costume seen in the show with the anime it comes from, which is handy for anyone who recognized an outfit but could not quite place it. The episode suits viewers who already know the main show and want to learn more about the cosplay on display. The tone stays light, in keeping with its comedy label, and it plays best as short bonus content rather than essential viewing.
