Two women who despise each other get assigned as partners, and by the time this OVA ends, you understand why they're unstoppable together. The animation is sharp enough to make the chaos feel real, the mission structure gives each episode room to breathe instead of chasing constant spectacle, and the jokes land because Kei and Yuri's banter is built on actual friction, not chemistry you're supposed to assume. First four episodes are setup, but episode five onwards the show stops holding back and you see what it actually is: a buddy story where the partnership is earned, not given.
SYNOPSIS
Kei and Yuri are assigned as partners at a galactic welfare agency despite having absolutely nothing in common. Kei's a hothead with a discipline record, Yuri's a hopeless romantic, and they spend their first mission actively refusing to cooperate with each other. Somehow they survive the experience, and somehow they keep getting paired up for the next job, and the next one after that. The problem is that wherever these two go, destruction follows. Buildings collapse. Cities suffer property damage. Criminals scatter like roaches. They're trying to save the day, but the collateral damage is so catastrophic that they've earned themselves a reputation: the Dirty Pair. Nobody wants to work with them. Their own agency dreads calling them in. Yet their clearance rate is undeniable, and their dynamic of constant bickering and accidental chemistry keeps them effective. This is sci-fi action filtered through slapstick comedy and genuine camaraderie. Expect explosions, one-liners, and two agents who drive everyone crazy while somehow getting the job done.
