Dongitsune Season 2 is a fox who exists between seasons and advertisements, living in a world where the joke is that he's genuinely trying to sell you instant udon but keeps getting distracted by his own chaos. Five minutes at a time, it builds a character who shouldn't exist into someone you actually want to see again.

Dongitsune Season 2 is a set of ten short animated commercials made for Nissin's Donbei Kitsune Udon instant noodles, released between September 2022 and February 2024. The spots mix slice of life and supernatural elements, with installments tied to an autumn festival and to year-end celebrations. They follow an earlier campaign of live-action commercials that starred Riho Yoshioka and Gen Hoshino.
