This one doesn't jump-scare you, it leaves you cold and disoriented, and honestly that might be the only thing it does on purpose. It's 2002 CGI, plastic skin and dead-eyed stares, and the stiffness works for it: the whole OVA plays like a corrupted save file from a PS1 disc nobody finished. The glitch sequences are the real payoff, electronic score droning under strobing static while Rion's head comes apart, and for a few minutes it out-creeps things with ten times the budget. Rion himself is a tough hang, a reactivated artificial kid Lilia drags back online, and three episodes later you still won't warm to him. Dorothy's final program spirals into a plot that eats itself and calls it a twist. You watch it anyway because that specific survival-horror dread made it across the gap intact.
