Nobody's looking for this one anymore, but it's still here: a show that treats a kitten's day like it matters, like noticing a raindrop or a friend's laugh is enough of a story. The 3D is soft and unselfconscious, the music plays when it wants to, and there's no plot twist waiting to justify why you're watching. For the person who needs proof that a show can be small and still be complete, Genki Genki Nontan is exactly that.

A cheerful white kitten named Nontan loves to play and to learn about the world around him. He is joined by fun-loving Tanuki, strong Bear, the pink Rabbit triplets, Bee and his little sister Taatan, along with his rival, Pig. Made in 3D animation for young children, the short episodes set to music teach positive lessons about the beauty and wonder of life.
