The games themselves are the real protagonist here, and they're genuinely clever enough that you stop caring Fay has the personality of cardboard. Each match is a puzzle box that respects your intelligence, pulling you into the logic before the twist lands. Watch this if you want to see mortals outwit gods through pure strategy, not plot armor.

Bored supreme gods have created the Game of the Gods, a set of brutal brain battles that humans may enter. A player who racks up ten victories is promised any wish, but three defeats strip away the right to challenge, and no one in human history has ever fully conquered the games. When Leoleshea, a former dragon god, is accidentally woken from her sleep inside a glacier, she demands to meet the best player of the era. After a year, she meets Fay, a celebrated rookie and apostle whose supernatural gift lets him challenge the gods. Discovering a shared love of games, the two form a team. Leshea wants to regain her status as an official god, while Fay hopes to find the woman who taught him to play long ago. Every divine game comes with its own conditions and hidden rules, so winning takes cunning and teamwork. The fantasy mixes comedy, romance and drama.
