SYNOPSIS
Mao Onigawara is eight years old, cheerful, and the granddaughter of Japan's Ground Defense Force commander. When adorable extraterrestrials begin infiltrating the country, the military faces an unprecedented problem: these creatures are so overwhelmingly cute that conventional weapons prove completely useless. Standard combat protocols simply don't apply. Enter Mao and her two best friends, who happen to be the granddaughters of the Air and Marine Defense Force chiefs respectively. Armed with magical transformation badges that grant them absolutely zero actual powers, the trio becomes Japan's last line of defense. Their job is straightforward in concept but chaotic in execution: stop the invaders through sheer willpower and elementary school ingenuity. What follows is pure absurdist comedy. The girls' transformations are purely cosmetic, their abilities don't exist, and the aliens remain aggressively precious throughout each encounter. The show commits entirely to its ridiculous premise, creating a magical girl parody that abandons everything except the transformation sequences and the fundamental absurdity of third-graders being tasked with national security.
