It spends its first act letting you laugh at the same idiot you've always laughed at, then charges you for it. Tomoki's panty crusades and Sohara's karate chops are still there, but every gag lands differently once you know where Ikaros's story is actually going, and the film knows exactly when to stop being funny. Ikaros calling him Master has been a punchline for two seasons and a movie; here it becomes the thesis, an Angeloid built as the Uranus Queen weapon trying to name feelings she was never given words for. Nymph and Astraea get room to matter, the animation saves its best frames for wings and silence rather than fanservice, and the ending refuses to hand you an easy out. If you've ever been embarrassed to admit an ecchi comedy made you cry over a watermelon, this is the one that did it.

The second Sora no Otoshimono movie, and the one that concludes the anime series. Ikaros, the beautiful winged girl who fell from the sky and began calling the girl-crazy Tomoki her master, finds that her connection to him runs deeper than she first believed. Left feeling empty and confused by emotions she has little experience with, she has to find a way forward after what happens next. Expect a mix of comedy, ecchi, romance, sci-fi and supernatural elements.
