A group of broke high schoolers find pocket change and immediately decide to make a low-budget movie. The chaos is exactly what you'd expect: equipment disasters, terrible script choices, everyone talking over each other in pure comedic panic. This is Kannagi at its loosest, the kind of special that exists only to watch characters you actually like spend twenty minutes failing at something stupid together.

In this unaired comedy special, released on the seventh DVD volume of Kannagi, the characters come across money left lying on the ground and decide to spend it making a movie. The series centers on Jin, an unlucky student who carved a statue from a sacred tree's trunk, only to see it become a girl: a guardian deity angry that her tree was felled, who now lives with him and fights impurities. The special sets that supernatural household loose on an amateur film project.
