Yuuta and Rikka's relationship stops being cute and becomes genuinely terrifying, what happens when the person you love has to choose between the life you built together and the person who raised her. The movie doesn't cheat on that conflict; it lets it breathe long enough that you remember why you needed these two to work out in the first place. By the end, you're not watching a romance anymore, you're watching two people choose each other while understanding what that choice costs.

Rikka Takanashi is a third-year high school student, and her chuunibyou fantasies show no sign of fading. She and Yuuta Togashi are still together, their relationship much the same as it was six months ago, and both hope to get into the same college as entrance exams approach. Then her older sister Touka lands a steady job in Italy and plans to bring Rikka along. Unwilling to be split up, the pair turn to their friends, who propose that they elope. Their escape becomes a trip across Japan, a mix of comedy, romance and drama.
