Kanako's allergic reaction to boys is played completely straight, which means watching her get repeatedly destroyed by a cross-dressing trap who lives in her dorm becomes hilarious catastrophe. The comedy doesn't come from "gotcha, he's a boy" cheap shots. It comes from Mariya and Matsurika methodically dismantling her every delusion while she's stuck sharing a room with the one person designed to make her life impossible. SYNOPSIS
Kanako transfers to an all-girls academy with one goal: find love with another girl. Her allergies to boys make it the obvious choice. She spots her perfect match immediately in Mariya, elegant and kind, everything she's dreamed of. There's just one problem. Mariya is actually a boy in disguise, and he's determined to make Kanako's school life miserable for his own amusement. Trapped as Mariya's roommate along with his acidic maid Matsurika, Kanako faces daily psychological warfare disguised as friendship. Every romantic daydream gets sabotaged. Every peaceful moment explodes into chaos. The pair seem to exist solely to mess with her head, yet somehow they keep ending up in situations where genuine connection might actually happen. What unfolds is a comedy about wanting something desperately while the universe conspires against you. Kanako's desperation clashes hilariously with Mariya's relentless pranking and Matsurika's deadpan cruelty. Reality becomes slippery, comedy turns surreal, and the line between tormenting someone and actually caring about them grows increasingly blurry.
