A ghost from your past doesn't need to ruin your present, sometimes it just needs to show you what you've stopped seeing. These stories understand that the real break happens in silence, in the moment you realize you're going through the motions with someone you love. Shogo can't choose between what he had and what he has until he admits he's been choosing neither.

Two separate stories that share a few characters. In the first, Shogo is in love with his girlfriend Neo when Kanata, a girl he dated years ago who vanished without a word, comes back into his life as an idol star. Her return makes Shogo and Neo think hard about where they stand, and while Shogo wavers between the two women, he hears about an accident. In the second, Inori and her boyfriend Isshu promised to always attend the annual fireworks display together, since that is where they became a couple. This summer Isshu says his part-time job will keep him away, even though the day marks the anniversary of their first date. Inori goes alone to the church that holds special meaning for them and recalls the past two years. Both halves are quiet romantic dramas about memory and the ties people keep.
