Season 7 grabs you by the collar in the sky over the Pacific and never really lets go. Star and Stripe carving New Order into the clouds, shaping herself into a Tiamat before her last wish turns her own quirk into a landmine inside All For One, is the kind of swing this series earned the right to take. Then All Might goes up in a suit of gadgets and scrap against the man who broke him, and every rocket, every decoy, every dying piece of that armor is a love letter you watch burn. Ochaco bleeding out in acid rain to give Toga the smile nobody ever gave her, Edgeshot threading himself through Bakugo's heart, Dabi and Endeavor finally screaming the truth at each other in fire. Yes, the flashbacks stall the war at the worst moments, and the cast is too crowded to breathe. It still lands, because Bones animates grief like it costs them something.

Japan's hero society is in trouble. After an all-out battle with the Paranormal Liberation Front, the public finds it hard to keep believing in its heroes. To stand against the combined might of Tomura Shigaraki and All For One, All Might reaches out to an ally from the West: Star and Stripe, said to be the strongest woman on the planet. All For One has other plans. He sets out to intercept Star and her fleet before they reach Japanese airspace, hoping to take her immensely powerful quirk for himself. Endeavor, Hawks and Best Jeanist race toward the meeting point, but Star takes a gamble of her own to protect her comrades.
