A guy trapped as a dog gets to experience his unrequited crush's genuine affection every single day, even though she has no idea who he really is. The premise sounds like a setup for wish fulfillment fantasy, but the show is actually about the loneliness of being close to someone while being completely unknown. It's asking: if you could be loved by your crush unconditionally, but never tell her why you're there, would the love even count.

A high school boy wakes up cold on the street one rainy afternoon, unable to remember how he got there. His classmate and crush, Karen Inukai, picks him up and carries him home, and only when he glimpses a mirror does he realize he has become a dog. Inukai adopts him, names him Pochita, and dotes on him happily. He hopes to become human again someday and tries to work out a way back, yet being looked after by the girl he loves has its own charm. Life as her pet also shows him sides of Inukai he never saw at school. The short-format series is a supernatural romantic comedy with ecchi elements, adapted from a manga by Furukawa Gosei.
