SYNOPSIS
Demonic creatures called Oni swarm across the planet, leaving conventional weapons useless in their wake. Scientist Dr. Saotome's solution arrives in the form of Getter Robo, a colossal machine powered by an otherworldly energy source known as Getter Rays. The catch: piloting it requires three men whose personalities clash as violently as the monsters they fight. Ryoma is a hot-headed martial artist who charges headfirst into danger. Hayato commands a criminal organization with calculated ruthlessness. Benkei is a Buddhist monk seeking redemption through combat. When forced to combine their strength inside a single giant robot, these three discover that their differences become their greatest weapon. Synchronizing their movements means confronting their own demons alongside the literal ones attacking humanity. New Getter Robo balances brutal action with genuine horror as the Oni threat grows increasingly grotesque and unstoppable. The series asks whether three fundamentally incompatible men can become something greater than the sum of their parts, or if their internal conflict will tear them apart before the monsters do.
