This is a recaps film. Skip it if you've already watched Season 1, it strips away the worldbuilding that makes Overlord interesting and leaves you with 90 minutes of combat divorced from context. Only watch this if you need a refresher before Season 2, or if you're the type who wants to see Nazarick's early raids without the slower political setup in between.

The second Overlord recap film condenses the back half of the anime's first season into a single feature and adds a handful of extended scenes. Momonga has taken on a new identity as the dreaded overlord Ains Ooal Gown and grown into the power that comes with it. He keeps moving through the world of Yggdrasil, set on raising Nazarick to new heights of glory across the game world. Fans of action, adventure and fantasy get a compact retelling of these events.
